In November, agroexporters' liquidation in Argentina fell to $759.7 million due to the impact of a tariff-free sales program that took place between September and October. This figure is 32% lower than in October and 62% less than in November 2024. According to CIARA-CEC, the reduction is attributed to the execution of grain shipments and milling for subsequent export under the special regime of Decree 682/2025 (temporary suspension of export duties). They clarified that November's foreign exchange income is the result of advances made in September. The companies explained that most of the sector's foreign exchange earnings occur well in advance of export, with an anticipation of about 30 days for grains and up to 90 days for oils and protein meals. They also added that statistical comparisons between different periods are generally imprecise due to various changing external factors such as international price fluctuations, supply constraints, climate conditions, and more.
